kenya: naivasha camping
you are probably tired of pictures of naivasha by now, but we are back there for a weekend trip, with tony and rita for a quick weekend rest. and anyway, its actually been a year since we have been back here, so it was about time.
in what has become our tradition, we had breakfast on the escarpment - you should really come and join us some time...
in case some of you havent been here yet, this is what it looks like - the yellow fever trees scattered through the campsite diffuse the light, to the right (out of the pic) is lake naivasha.
one of the highlights for me this trip - the egyptian geese. they are usually very shy, but this time they had a few little baby geese (what are they called - geeselets? goslings? ANYway...) so they couldnt fly away every time i got close. i sat in aboat and they swam by so close i could have reached out and grabbed them....
i woke up early (shocking for me) and took the same picture on 2 different days for comparison...
oh, and almost forgot, an old boat for carrianne...
