generally speaking, most of these pictures just show bits of life in khartoum - no particular order or narrative.

of course we have talked about the famous hospitality of sudan. it extends to all people - outside many homes they put a big earthenware jug (like in the pic below) that any passerby is welcome to come and have a drink from.

life inside is very hot - many live in the street (even sleeping in the street) when the weather gets too hot...

this guy is a young man who started studying. he got so excited that he asked, 'can i bring a few others to the meetings as well?' he has a study who attends meetings regularly even though he himself is not even a publisher yet.
